There isn’t a huge difference between how we read tarot and oracle cards. The main difference between the two styles of decks is that tarot decks have a concise system which all decks from all creators generally follow. You can get the same message from the same card from all different decks. You don’t need specific guidebooks for each new deck that you get because once you know the cards, you can interpret the imagery as you feel it. Oracle decks are more of a free for all. Each deck is completely different, and the messages are completely different. Some decks are very simple, offering thoughts or affirmations for the day, while others have three or four pages per card of guidance, healing, explanation of possible issues arising around this oracle, and so on.
